Mon, February 27, 2006 - 4:05 PMi saw it and i liked it alot. it needs a little work but all in all it was interesting and entertaining . It's part of a trilogy so i'm interested in seeing where thay take it. It's basically about Good versus Evil and not really a horror movie so much as fantasy ,but good none the less -

I loved it! But my dvd player didn't and wouldn't play the last 20-30mins!!
So I was happy to see it play here! It was very cool to see on the big screen too!

Mon, March 20, 2006 - 10:57 AMLast night Muffin and I went to see a movie and I was pushing for Night Watch but she really wanted to see Dave Chapelle's Block Party. Well, I decided to check out the reviews for both and we ended up seeing Block Party.
I still want to see Night Watch but I must say that I'm so glad I saw Block Party. It's fantastic! It features bands I didn't know very much about and a music event I knew nothing about. It's a really inspiring concert film with great performances and some hilarious commentary from Dave Chapelle throughout. The music is gorgeous, the stage is full of talent, the audience members you get to know (including a marching band from Ohio) are great.
Block party is, in a word, FIERCE! -

Replace "Dave Chappelle" with "Peaches Christ" and "marching band from Ohio" with "local San Francisco freaks" and you could be talking about Midnight Mass.
